Hey guys!
Haven't seen a thread for clash yet so I started one! I'm about a few months into clash, about to get to town hall 7. Wanted to know the best advice you could give me for base layouts, attack strategies, and just general rules on how I can better my clashing!
Also, go ahead and share or about your base or your usual (or different) attack strategies. Those questions above we're just for any other noobs like me who could use to get better.
When I first started, I'd get a few wizards and a ton of balloons. I'd use the wizards to take care of air defenses and any thing else that can attack air units, then I'd just spam the balloons in one spot and they'd take car of the rest. I've now adopted a strategy of primarily archers, giants, and a couple wall breakers, where I use the giants as meat to absorb all the mortar fire and the archers to destroy the base. Wall breakers purpose is obvious. Or, if I'm trying to farm up a good amount of resources, I'll just get a ton of barbarians and then about 10-20 archers (very cheap) and attack the collectors on the outside. Almost always, you'll get enough elixir to pay off the cost of the army and still make a profit, and if you're lucky, the barbs/archers might take out the rest of the base.
I use this farming strategy when I play civ because the troops only take about ten minutes. I'll just play civ for however long it takes, clash, and back to civ! By far my favorite part about civ being turn based, you can pause anytime you want.
