quick thoughts after lookie at the screenies:
Get Border Patrol army into combat after cutting roads at the chokepoint. If you have inadequate forces at chokepoint charlie, start pillaging roads to slow down mongal reinforcements. If we're seriously concerned about CI, abandon Cuello (those mountains just make it an invasion superhighway for Attila. Tikal would be cool to keep cause of the harbor. If we draft, we have throwaway units to defend that could improve into useful units.
Spend the cash to upgrade units and strip the rear area! If there are any landings, our railways get us there in time to defend.
Does anyone have Communism or Facism yet? Arabs & Cleo are going to het WW soon.
@ clive - if you don't have enough strength to counter attack, you can always move into the other civs territory and pillage roads. This slows down their attacks and gives you the chance to hit them before they hit you in your won territory. If done correctly, any units you use can usually end up in one of your own cities. Let me know if you have questions and I'll try to run up a screenie.
@ Bede - am I nuts? Is this bad tactical advice? Your thoughts on drafting?
