Texas Tech over Minnesota is maybe a conference upset, depending on whether you count TT as 6th or 7th in the Big Twelve. Maryland/Purdue was a straight up 5v5 matchup.

More than halfway home, today's games are almost unanimous. The only movement possible is AlCosta can pull even with the leaders if Georgia wins, and Darkness can pull himself out of the cellar (or others into the cellar with him, I guess) if Navy wins.

Well, for not really watching much College Football, 11-6 isn't bad. I'm surprised we're all this far above .500 (14-3 is really amazing!).

We're definitely on pace to do better than last year, when the winning score was 17-11 . . .

There haven't been a whole lot of upsets so far this bowl season, and I think that's probably helped the numbers. Troy and Kentucky are the only real out-of-nowhere winners so far . . .

It's interesting; Purdue/Maryland and Kentucky/Clemson were very similar matchups. Very inconsistent ACC team on a down streak against a team with a terrible defense. I went with the ACC team in one game, and the terrible defensive team in the other. I was 0-2.

Seriously, the best pass offense vs. the worst pass defense, it was only a matter of time before Harrell, Filani, and Hicks found thier rhythm. This was a case where the Gophers should have been MORE conservative, they came out throwing in the second half and really gave Tech more time than they should've.

Iowa just got robbed of over 40 seconds at the end of that game! What a terrible job of officiating...but then again, they were PAC-10 refs.

No, Miami shouldn't be in a bowl. But they are and I think they have too much tallent (and pride?) to loose in a non-2007 bowl.

EDIT: I'd also like to point out that augurey was the only CFCer to pick UK. I'm not saying they're gonna win, I'm just sayin' . . .
