College Bowl Prediction Thread

I actually think that they will win but as with the case of OU I just can't bring myself to pick them in a game. Miami is a disgrace.

Tenessee 10
Penn State 20

Nobody expected that, did they? Big Ten 1-3

I've gotten I'd estimate more than half the games wrong. I don't care anymore how crappily I do. :p

Auburn 17
Nebraska 14
Final from Dallas.

GT is rolling over West Virginia, guess Reggie Ball really was THAT bad of a QB.

Can't believe the idiots on CBS' halftime show, they all said that LSU was better than BOTH teams playing in the championship game:eek:. Didn't LSU LOSE to Florida earlier this year?!?!

Tennesse shouldn't have lost...I really feel bad for Arian Foster, they had that game won if they had scored on that drive. Not to mention Brent Smith was out, which allowed Penn State to double up if necessary on Swain & Meachem. They did a good job of containing them though because every time I had seen Tennessee play they connected on at least one of those spectacular bombs to Meachem in the endzone.

The Penn State defense is awesome, but thier offense is very Auburn-esque. Morelli IS better than Brandon Cox though, but that's not saying much.

Arkansas trailing Wisconsin by 10, but to prove that Bowl Games are not always indicative of team strength, Georgia Tech is leading WVU by 11 ;)

I'm sorry, but Tennessee shouldn't have won. If you can't stop the anemic Penn State Offense, you don't deserve to win. Penn State just outplayed Tennessee all day long and it showed in the TOP and huge day by Hunt.

And Arky just blew amazing field postion, I'm shocked they didn't even pull a field goal out of that.

I'm not. Arky's game is busting the big play, gaining the lead, and grinding the game out with the best backfield duo in the NCAA. Thier kicker is awful, thier QB's are supbar, and thier receivers outside Monk are inconsistent.

Tenn actually did hold Penn State's offense to 17 points, about thier average, but think about it...if they score and go up 17-0, Morelli has to pass. I think one of the announcers said that that game was his best game...was he really THAT bad during the season?

Yes, he was. He was a putrid QB during the season. For example, his numbers against OSU were 106 yards, 0 TD, 3 INTs. The only game that I can think of that he did go over 200 yards passing was the last one against the putrid Michigan State D.

Also, I'm not sure I quite believe that offer Alabama is reported to have offered Saban.

A poll of SEC coaches at years end said LSU was the best team in the SEC--AT THE END of the season

Didn't focus on the WVU-GT game much in the second half, but good job by the mountaineers to rally for the win.

GT could be real good next year, especially if CJ comes back. They don't have too many seniors on this current squad.

Earth to Michigan: Where's the offensive line? Crap, this is the second straight game where the OLine hasn't preformed.

Wrong again. I guess you're right, Michigan is the ultimate choking school. This is the most embarassing two hours I've been through, and I don't know how the number three team in the country is getting ass raped, again, in what should be a big game where some of them will never play again.

I hate this. Goddamnit, I'm so sick of this team not playing under pressure.

Finally some signs of life outta the Meatchicken offense. A TD and two point conversion away from evening it up.

Now, here's hoping tonights game between Boise State and Oklahoma isn't a blowout.

AlCosta just wraped this up I think :(
