Colonies and difficulty level

Do colonies get the higher difficulty bonuses that the AI gets? Would be nice to know.

They do.

Well actually all the AI civs, including your vassals/colonies, play on Noble while only the human player(s) get bonuses or penalties depending on difficulty level.

So this makes vassals and colonies more worthwhile at higher difficulty.

Saying they "play on noble" is true but ludicrously misleading. They get all kinds of bonuses that noble players do not receive.
