yes, there will be elections within republics and they will be mentioned when they occur. If the player doesnt do it themselves, then the update will do it for them. USA would be the best example, but it will also occur for any other republican nation.

Eire is Ireland, and there is no Australian nation. The continent is divided into German, American, and Japanese zones. Still working on rules and stats for this, and some research is still being done for government and historical events. Should have a sample for ya'll sometime Monday though.
