Anyone else waiting for this game? Though I don't to trust EA, this game looks promising because this is said in the Gamespot interview  :

"According to executive producer Mike Verdu, the development team is looking to make the game "a landmark in terms of story." To that end, EA LA is bringing back the classic live-action full-motion video (FMV) cinematic sequences from the previous games."

There are also couple of screenshots and "official trailer" available:

What do you think? Is this game going to be true C&C game or flop like Generals?

EA makes crap nowadays. They bought out lots of companies that made the original game and when they developed sequals it sucked hard.

Look at the bond franchise when it was owned by Rare and they made goldeneye for the N64. Right after that EA bought it and all the bond games after that could never match goldeneye.

I dont know what it is with EA but they never make quality games in my eyes.

I agree with Xanikk. They did the same thing with the C&C titles; they bought Westwood who made them and then changed it drastically. If I do get C&C 3 then it will be only because I have bought every C&C game so far.

Oh great, another futuristic RTS. The question is how bad will they ruin the the original C&C RTS concept in a in a time period that had been perfected by Starcraft.

Since the Command & Conquer Tiberium games have always taken place in the future...

Tiberium Dawn took place in the 90's. It's 2006.

Tiberian Sun takes place in our future, and if Tiberian Dawn isn't "futuristic" I want my Obelisk of Light.

Well we don't have fusion power yet and would you call Sim City 2000 and Civilization futuristic?

Firstly, its not called Tiberian Dawn, its called Command & Conquer, and secondly, it clearly states that it takes place in 2036.
