Commonly Used Acronyms in the Civ Community

Beeline - Going directly towards a technology ignoring others
It is my understanding the meaning of this word is more nuanced, in that you don't "ignoring others" for 100%

Here follows a bunch of terms commonly used in the Strategy & Tips forums. Not all acronyms but very common terms. There is almost always someone asking what some of these terms mean.

Otherwise I agree with the acronyms listed by Roxtar and LAnkou. I completely disagree with those given by Bushface (I've never seen them used).

I have tried not to list previously mentioned acronyms. I apologize if I repeat what others have already listed.

Economic rushes: Whiprush/Poprush/Whip (slavery), Choprush/Chop (forest chopping), Buy/Goldrush (universal suffrage purchase)
Military rushes: Axerush, Cavrush etc. Catrush (catapult rush, often implies a construction beeline as well)
There ought to be no confusion between economic and military rushes.
