Community Call to Power Project

I'm kind of lost on whcih map types are supported as I haven't been following the development closely as of lately. Is it possible with your lua files to use PerfectWorld i.e., Horem?

EDIT: nevermind, I got it working \0/.
 
Unable to build temples in my current game? Have they been removed? Or a bug?
Also seems to be a small error with the description of the "mysticism" tech
Ballistics showing up 3 times for research. When it first became available for research there were two. Immidiately got one from a research agreement and then as I researched compass yet another one showed up, so that I again can research balistics twice.
 
About the weird Monarchy-Aristocracy-Democracy-Republic combination, which was available with the original Civ5 rules:

Good point! :) It's like socialist-communist-capitalist modern China, or like democratic countries where the ruling party has been the same for more than 50 years. History has a few weird cases like these. Anyway, it's good to see reasonable mutual exclusions in the mod, so the player has to carefully schedule the ideology-government combinations :)

By the way: When playing the mod, I found very little incentive to move from my Republic (with a fully developed social tree) to a Democracy. The +1 science specialist bonus makes the Republic very good for tall empires. Even after building theaters, a Republic may still have more research than a Democracy despite of its +15% research bonus, not to mention the +15% production bonus of the Republic... Maybe the Democracy gov is intended to be used with wide empires, rather than tall empires? This would somehow contradict the better happiness bonus of Democracy, doesn't it? Or maybe the Democracy is intended to be used without specialists, so the population is dramatically boosted? It's an interesting possibility indeed!

Sounds like a mod conflict or borked installation. Try either turning off mods 1 by 1 or reinstalling CCTP.
 
I seem to have games where ancient ruins refuse to provide any bonusses. Perhaps it has to do with a civ I'm playing (Dutch by Lord Alderaan) or a few other mods. I'll try to pin it down.

Does CCTP have research agreements btw?

I have noticed this too, but its always the 2nd hut I ever get, I have put it down to somthing I have changed in Epic Speed Mod, do you happen to be using Vanilla CCTP? If you are this would make it either a CCTP issue or Fraxis problem.

Vanilla Yes, Epic Speed Modmod No.
 
I'm using your Epic speed mod. And up to today it was the 2nd hut for me too. And just today it is the first :(. Any idea in which file you changed code, maybe I can help find oddities.

Good to knkw you removed Research Agreements. They suck :p.
 
Most my Core changes are in changes.xml :) commented too. Goody Huts part isnt too far down, and its something to do with having experience and another bonus off the same hut, some work some do not, at least i think, not sure why its nrly always the 2nd hut though, presumed huts to be random not off a set list.
 
Will the base food/gold/production yeild be set back to 1? Would be a bit silly for the mod to be forever unplayable in the late era's with the gold and production going into overflow error...
 
Hey, just downloaded the mod today, was blown away by how awesome it is. Just two questions though:
1. Do you have to use the epic speed mod? At first I tried playing standard speed and it took me from game start (600AD) to 1000AD just to research one tech - writing (btw why does early game vanilla standard speed 1 turn = 8 years while Epic mod is 1 turn = 16 years?)
2. Are "end at modern era" mods compatable with this?
 
Yeah so rice isn't working. The resource will not allow any tile improvement. Also the model for the panzer is missing and crashes the game when used.

There has been talk of this, I am not sure if anyone offical is actualy in the process of changing this though.
I have been playing with the 1's system for a few weeks now, my own edited files, only takes a few hrs to change whats needed:-
divide the cost & maintenace of units and buildings by 5
divide the yield of terrain, resource, feature & improvements by 5
also need to change some policies, again this can be done by searching(in the 3 policy xml's) for yield and dividing by 5, I belive Culture and Science were left in the 1's system, so no need to change anything with science or culture.

Ive have kind of noticed this, but its not tied to a specific resource and it doesnt happen to all off them just the odd 1(but if ur automated worker improves the tile u get the resource). You are using my AssignStartingPlots.lua?

1. You dont have to use Epic Speed Mod, its an optional extra. Also sounds as if you have not installed the mod/mods correctly 400 yrs 1 tech....Bad.
2. Very Doubtfull.

Thanks for the hard work on this mod from everyone involved. I seem to have a bit of a problem though, no resources are showing up on any maps at all, not even the real world map, anything I'm doing wrong here?

Did you read the full instructions Horem posted/added in the readme file?

The Real World map mod and my adjusted AssignStartingPlots.lua and associated files are not compatible, you have to use one or the other atm sorry.
