Would having modpack and playing in SP with mods cause problems?

I mean, I would like to play both MP and SP with CPP. What are the best options?

I will turn Active Diplomacy off in the next version, then we will see if that fixes the diplomacy issues and you can safely use the modpack in SP again!

Please try this version and see if it fixes all the diplo issues.
The fact that you use a modpack alone does change nothing about how the mods are working (in MP or SP), I have played hundreds of hours with a huge modpack and never had a single issue with diplomacy or anything else that could have been modpack-related.
So Gazebo is right, the only reason can be Active Diplomacy, which is deactivated in this version. It's really a shame to turn it off since it is such a great addition to MP, but maybe Gazebo or JDH will find a solution for this!

Keep the modpack handy, drop it into your DLC folder when you want to use it. Otherwise, use the installer.

That's clearly not true, though, in the case of what's going on here, as users are reporting bugs with the Modpack that don't happen with the regular install. We'll see if the active AI removal fixes that, though.

That's what I wanted to say. I'm almost 100% sure the issues must be related to the Active AI, not the fact that it's a modpack.
 
It would be a great shame if the mod lost Active AI for good - I hope you get it working again soon!
 
Looks like my discussion with JdH yielded fruit, in that he's working on a fix. So that could be nice.

How did he get the mods into the modpack? I want to put some other mods into the modpack but I can't do it, because the modpack with CBP completely overwrites the other modpack so i want to figure out how to make it myself so I can get all my mods in.
 
I can't play with my buddy via Internet. During End Turn I get loading screen and after that my friend gets different layout.

Yep, definitely. We noticed that this "desynch" happens when we try to play Communitas game script which is stored in our Maps folder. If I launch standard Fractal map we don't seem to have any problems, which is a shame because Communitas map is my favorite.

Communitas map has odd behaviors in scripting for MP. You could generate a map, save it as a scenario, THEN use that scenario as the map for your session.

Generate a map in MP. In the save menu, you can save the map (there's a box at the bottom). Send that to your friend, he can drop it in his Maps folder. There you go.

Hi, I just started using the mod recently and my roommate and I tried to play a game. The first couple of turns went just fine, but the we began to experience a TON of desyncs-resyncs. I enabled my game to be logged and connected to a game with him again to see if I could get a desync-resync logged up and have been successful with that but now I just need someone to help read the logs and possibly help me fix the problem ( whatever it even is) @.@
 
Any which ones in specific? and would you like them to just be copy pasted or is the a file upload tool?
