Compatablity Question

My friend wants to get Civ IV very badly, but he is unsure if he can support it. He told me his system specs, and he exceeds all of the recommended specifications except for the graphics. For graphics he meets the minimal requirements. Will he lag at all in game? I was thinking maybe he would be able to run it at low detail but with little lag. Im not a wiz on computers so I dont know. Any help is appreciated.

75 gb Hard disk space
play monitor on intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV graphics controler
