I just installed CIV 4 Gold.
My system is a 64 2 x 4200 ATI
2 gigs of RAM
WIN XP PRO up to date
GeForce 6600 GT
Logitech G15 keyboard
Logitech MX500 laser mouse
The game is full retail Gold version which I purchased at Costco.
Drivers are all up to date.
The game installed fine with no glitches. I've tried to play a game and get hung at various stages. Sometimes on the setup screen and a few times on the first game screen.
It locks up solid with the screen being visible and no video glitches. CTRL-ALT-DEL does nothing. The only thing that will work is a reset using the button.
Any ideas?
