Conquest

I doubt that you can get all your workers from grabbing just the wandering workers. I guess I am confused how you could muster so many wanderers.

Emperor could be the issue as I have not tested or even written the game for that level of play. Give it a whirl on just Prince or Noble.

How can you build a unit in less than one turn? Are you saying you are building two units from the same city on the same turn? That is definitely wrong....

Looking at the Emperor settings, it does not look appropriately scaled. With the next version I will fix this. It is nearly the same as much lower difficulties.

Most probably cause is the mod is not in the correct location. Depending on if you loaded Civ from DVD or bought it off from Steam, the location must be exact.

Also make sure you have all the expansions and that it is patched.

It must also be of an English install of Windows (foreign file structures are different).

Make sure the mod is not double nested -- ie Conquest in a Conquest folder in the Mods folder.

Hope one of these ideas help you out!

Man that sucks you can't get it to work. I will say that once you figure out the problem you will more than likely be able to play all my other mods (Multiverse, Age of Discovery, and ExtremeMod2). That being said, I have seen this many times before and eventually the player does figure it out.

Prime culprit is the mod being in the wrong place. You having said that it was in the correct spot is troubling.

You are on a English OS version of Windows?

Patched up to the latest version and have all the expansions loaded?

Verify that the mod is not double nested, meaning that a Conquest folder is not in another Conquest folder?

Keep working at it man, I know you will like it.

Good luck!

Thanks for your help but still no luck - I have checked everything including location, name etc and still the GFC error occurs. I see another poster has had the same problem. I liked all your other mods so keen to play this one as well.

Several people did have problems with the mod, but as you can also see they did eventually work them all out. Great fans here for this mod, so please keep reading the forums for troubleshooting tips.

I would also try redownload the mod. Leave it on your desktop and uncompress it. Then move the whole directory straight into the correct mod path.

Keep at it. And thanks for the support.

History Rewritten must be installed in order to get this mod run. Otherwise it crashes with a GFC error.
In addition, most of the scenarios are for History Rewritten and have to be edited changing the modpath.
