Our constitution may be found here.

This amendment deals with Article M of the Fanatikese Constitution.

The following would be additions to Article M. Note that the following clauses do not currently exist.

6. Should citizens filling the positions of Minister of Domestic Affairs, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vice President, or Justice of the Court become absent for a period of seven (7) days without prior notification to the nation, the President may remove that citizen from that office.

7. Should citizens filling the positions of Minister of Defense, or Minister of Science become absent for a period of seven (7) days without prior notification to the nation, the Minister of Domestic Affairs may remove that citizen from that office.

8. Should citizens filling the one of the Ambassadorial positions become absent for a period of seven (7) days without prior notification to the nation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs may remove that citizen from that office.

9. Should the citizen filling the position of President become absent for a period of seven (7) days without prior notification to the nation, the Vice President, with majority approval of the Executive Council, may remove that citizen from the Presidential office and assume the Presidency himeself.

This poll shall be open for seven days. At that point, if it has reached quorum, the constitutional shall be amended. A minimum of 13 votes in the affirmitive is required to pass this proposal.

I like the idea too, but why is the Minister of Defence in position under the Domestic? I think he should be just as high up on the positions...

Let the President remove the Minister of Defense, and clause 7 would be ok. Still, why not let all Ministers be appointed by the President?

And let the Vice President assume the Presidency with a 24 (or 48 if that is to short) hour general poll with Yes/No or something.

I also think that the President should be able to remove the Minister of Defense, and not the Minister of Domestic Affairs. I will vote in this poll later.

Again, this is still our old Chain of Command. The idea is that Military and Science report to the Domestic Minister. The way the current article reads, Domestic would still appoint the new Defense Minister, anyway.

The Domestic Ministry has inherent control over the military. Funding for the military, as well as the production of new units, all are powers of the Domestic Minister.

Lastly, this acts as a check on the President's power. It's already a powerful position; there's no need to give the President more power.

I have approved the actions for this amendment and I have one question, What would happen if the Domestic Advisor is innactive?

Oh, thanks CG. You just made realize something: I forgot to mention the amount of prerequisite absence in proposed clause 6, and forgot to specify days in all the clauses.

The first post has been editted to reflect my original intention. If there are any objections, we will repoll the issue.

Can I remove ambassadors now, or wait until seven days from now? (It's the justice's call here)
