Okay we have 11 new saves from round 2.
A relatively big decline from the first set, which makes me think some peoples would prefer if they can play their own.

For round 3 you can play your own game now, and will stay this way until it's over
(ofc you can still take a different save too)
Please remember everybody that you can join in (or back in) for any round, no restrictions here..pick a save and gogo.

I think the next CB will be culture or space, for new strats to discuss and different playing.

Although I didn't make it due to RL, I still plan to play the last round at some point and will stay away from the spoilers until then. Already looking forward to read on 5tephen's and dorhin's games afterwards.
Thanks @Fippy for hosting these and don't be discouraged when initial participation declines. These are still great and will be nice to run on a regular basis. Culture VC sounds great, especially with decisions such as weighing peaceful expansion vs. grabbing another capital.

Yeah, probably hard to impossible to avoid the participation dropping. The game is always most fun and interesting in the beginning, when everything is new and unclear, the map is black and you don't even know your opponents. At some point the game feels like won, and it's more about getting across the line. These games have been a lot of fun, and I hope it will be repeated in the near future.

Although being closed and victories shared I liked this game enough to still finish it myself too
