I have three of them, 13, 15, 17, and both played Civilization III since they are able to move the mouse on the screen (almost)... I just have to convince the two others to participate to the GOTM after the younger one submitted her game two hours ago! ;-)

I finish it and submit but very slowly. I took my time to do it because I forgot it was like a contest.

When I saw the date that every one won and I compare to my date, there is a big difference ^^. I start attacking the Egyptians when I was at my Medievals Infantry.

Not like my father did, I attacked the Germains, then the Indians, then the Chinese and a bit the Americans. Why? Because I thought that Chinese's terrain was not really interesting, except incense. Also, I didn't declared the war, except to beat the Americans. It's them who looked for problems

Well, I realize that searching Republic was a really good thing. They gave me 2 or 3 techs for this and when I pass to Republic, the money came to me!

I hope the next GOTM will be on Monarch, because I want to retry this experience. At sure, if it's a level like Deighty, count me out!
(and maybe it will be with the Ottomans?! )

P.s.: Sorry for my english, I don't speak it well... ^^

Your English is excellent, and I am sure you will learn the tricks for playing at higher levels very fast.

It's pretty nice to see younger people starting to play Civ 3.
