Cought in the middle of 2 world wars

You are using the Manage Attachment option. The Upload Files on the bottom allows at least 5mb as I have loaded that size before and I think it goes to 10mb.

Use that and copy and paste the link into one of your post.

Use the easy upload system on the quick reply form. The red square with an arrow, it allows large uploads, up to 10mb. After the file is received and the intended party gets the file, it can be deleted to give you more room.

Ok I will try to get at this soon to see what can be done, if anything. I see you got the hang of the upload now.

dont stress tis not important i finished the game

It gives me a game to play that I did not have to dream up for myself and I wanted to see if I can run some logs and maybe point up the key places where a few changes would have made a different.

Anyway if I can get to it and you are still around I will post some feedback, if not then no big deal. You came close to winning, so that was a good run.

Flac509,

I start with the research. I see it is going at 20%. So I wonder why? It seems to me that I should go hard or not at all. I can go zero and use the money to steal tech as a viable method.

You are late in the game at being on top in terms of power and land, not so much tech. I do not mean in the year, 1060AD, but how far they have gotten in land.

I like espionage to steal, while at war. I would rather have that than tanks a bit sooner.

I am confused now as I look at F2 and it shows gold and tobacco on the resource/lux display? I do not remember seeing that. Is this a mod? Maybe I just never noticed it, but of the icon shows palm trees as an oasis?

As I look around a bit I see a number of units fortified on hills and even in a
fortress on a gold tile? I would not worry about those tiles, rather I want to
maximize my defense and my kills.

A lone musket on a grass tile is just asking to get killed and how does that help me?

I presumed you gave the lux for MPP and such, but I am dead set against trading 2 lux to a top dog. In this game I would maybe be willing to trade one, as long as I got one back, else not going to help feed their empire.

Starting with Marselles, one citizen is on a hill getting 142, move to incense and it now gets 145. If you had workers on hand you could irrigate 2 desert tiles and add 2 workers. Now you have 24 food, 2 more gold and in 2 turns go to size 12.

That citizen can work the mountain and you will have 4 more shields and 2 more gold. So 7 extra gold and 4 extra shields. These types of details are part of beating higher level AI's.

You have to use your human brain and experience to offset their advantages. So get max or nearly max out of the better towns. Use you better strategy to have a superior kill ratio and keep the pressure on when they stumble.

You need to be gaining land all the time or their bonus will bury you.

Washington starving with many specialist? Put one to work on the mine.

Found two stacks near the border in a fortress? What is their function? They have no attackers to kill anyone and the AI will probably bypass them, if they are too strong.

Let them come in as they have no means to reach you on the IBT and you can move those arties to where they are needed and pound them.

Ok, I am tossing in the towel here as I see two places making armies at once. So I have no idea what is going on in this game. I see now that infanrty are 10/10, bye.
