Believe me, you're liberal, at least around my neck of the woods you'd be one.

lol, I guess my point is more that I try to avoid labels/tags because, for instance, if I started every discussion w/ the phrase "as a liberal" or "as a conservative" or whatever, then people would react to the label, rather than the argument. Which is why I find it pathetic unfortunate that so many people actually cling to and prefer to be labeled and pigeonholed.

Well that is certainly true enough. When, for example, conversing with some of my fellow conservatives around here, they become downright angry at me when I voice my strong support for (some) conservation programs. If a known liberal would say such things, they'd just dismiss it as typical liberal dribble, but when one of their own says it...

Naw, not when it comes to conservative. I'm actually a big supporter as long as it doesn't go overboard. How else can we ensure there will be enough critters around for future generations to blow away during hunting season?
