Counter to Sheaim Fire Zombies?

really like that idea :)
 
I think a great wall at Malevolent Designs (disallowing barbarian/demon entrance) would be a nice cheap wonder for the Shieam. Make NONE as the UB for all other civs. I think it'd be a nice boost for Super-Evil Shieam players.

I also like the idea of capping Pyre Zombie explosions at 95, and allowing Fire mana to increase the explosions power by 5% each (stackable). Or 10%.

capping it at 95% would really help exp farming for Shaem, just PZ them down to 5% and finish them off with your adept. several battles later an army of arcmages are conquering the world. the most annoying thing with using PZ is that the explosion kills off the units that would be useful for exp.
 
See .... everyone wins. The Mage-heavy Shieam players get a source of Exp, and everyone else doesn't go WTH its dead already! I dont even get a Text Message! :(

To my chagrin, on Coop games, people have unwittingly killed their own heroes by killing too many PZs in one turn (in earlier versions). I tried to warn them, but without experiencing it firsthand themselves such warnings generally fell unto deaf ears.

I believe one time my Human team mate killed off his Chalid in such a way.
 
IMHO, the Spring spell should put out pyre zombie flames, or at least have a chance to do it. Doused pyre zombies would become, oh I dunno, diseased corpses maybe?

Also, undead could be like golems and not heal. Perhaps then they could only heal if they actually parked right on top of a death mana site. Could make for some interesting hordes of undead hanging around the Broken Sepulcher and other death nodes. :)

and/or they can also heal only if they win in battle against living units.
 
That is simple, isn't it? Just change PROMOTION_UNDEAD into -5% regen (like PROMOTION_GOLEM) and give PROMOTION_CANNIBALIZE for all undead (or at least made them require just undead to achieve).

Hmmm, might mod-mod this one. :goodjob:
