CPP as multiplayer modpack

Hi, it's me again.

So I've tried to create my own modpack using MPMPM and the end result was rather buggy.

There were a lot of popups indicating "Can't load XML file" as well as "Can't load CommunityArt64.dds" plus lots of other .dds files. Some of the pictures in the tech tree were replaced with a red square too. In addition, I would get a CTD after about 4 turns or so. Any idea what's causing these problems?

Here's the mods I used for the modpack:
Community Patch (7-1)
Community Balance Patch (7-1)
CSD for CBP (6-19)
Civ IV Diplomatic Features (6-19)
Community Balance Patch - Compatibility Files (EUI) (7-1)
EUI for CBP (7-1)
More Luxuries (v 155)
InfoAddict (v 22)
R.E.D. Modpack (v 27)

For me that happens when I don't manually copy over the CSD and C4DF mods. Put them (and any other mods that are missing i.e. that you activated but that didn't get copied over) into the DLC/MP_MODSPACK/Mods folder, and it should be fixed.

You can have a look at civaddictions modpack. http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=548835
He included all that, except the Community Balance patch and EUI. So you should try if it works well without them, and then find out what is causing the problems.

and about your missing files popups: make sure the files are where they belong. It happens sometimes, that some mods are missing in the completed modpack. so copy paste them in your modpack folder to the other mods.

And on a sidenote:
Active AI does work with MPMPM, at least a little modified version, but of course it needs his own dll (only one can be active at same time, so it's not compatible to CP). You can find it in this mod pack:

Thanks for your help guys! So we realised that it was indeed the CSD and C4DF mods that were missing, which was causing the xml and dds problems.

However, now we're getting plenty of desyncs and CTD which, reading from previous posts, i assume is normal. We tried to solve it our own by running Civ as administrator, clearing game cache and opting for No Barbarians, but we're still getting the desyncs and crashes.

I highly doubt anyone knows how to solve this yet, but we'll let you guys know more if we ever managed to solve or find the root of the problem!

Log files are helpful. Ilteroi and I are working on these de sync bugs.

Which log files do you require? And where do i find them?

EDIT: Actually nevermind, we found a thread with instructions on enabling logging.

Here's the logs for both me and my friend's. My friend's the host for the game.

This game was a fresh game, with cache cleared. We set it to allow policy saving, promotion saving, research agreements, quick combat and no barbarians. It was played on Earth (geographically correct version) in Large settings (10 civs, 20 CS).

We had no desyncs in this game but my friend encountered a CTD on turn 9, right after he opened his capital's citizen management screen.

Hey, just a curiosity: does anyone have an upload of the MP on hand? The link in the OP is dead, and I accidentally purged mine while trying to update it to a newer CBP save.
