Cramping My Style

Hey,

I use Modern CFC as my style. I got a bored a few days ago and cycled through some of the other styles to see what they looked like. I picked Extreme CFC for all of two minutes and went to OT. My eyes felt like they were going to fall out from all of the red, so I went to go change the style back to Modern. I did and it looks like modern. However, my profile seems to think that I'm still using Extreme:

The page reloaded at one point and something strange happened. I was seeing modern, a take over ad came up, and when the page came back, it was Extreme! What's going on?

I got a similar deal going - was using ancient, read the announcement by TF about removing ads from modern, changed to modern for the duration, and when I changed back later, it still kept popping up with modern.

IMO - it might be something with the cookies, but I am no expert in how the php handles cookies, so I dont really know

You may have to different stored cookies for the site, which occurs more often when you post from more than one computer. Try reentering the preferred sytle from all platorm, or clearing the cokkie (MAKING SURE THAT YOU REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORD).

You'll need to change your style using the User CP, rather than thru the drop-down menu on the mainpage...

Well - I just discovered that what Lefty said also goes for Mozilla and IE cookies All this time I thought they were kept in the same storage area...

How about anew colour?

Psychadelic funky colour.
It's a whole bunch or really bright colours done in a 60's style design that looks a bit like Austin Powers pad.

Yes, or a yellow style. Something less red, but with that cool "Civilization Fanatics Forums"- logo with the fanatics. I like those fanatics, they're sooo cool. That's why I use Ancient CFC. But actally I think this is a bit too red, so another color would be nice...

Actually as repulsive as her art work is, It would be perfect for what I am suggesting, though maybe it could be a bit toned down a little.

Anyway, before we add new styles, we need to add PM bar to Mac OS X style

CFC does need some new color schemes, although i am quite comfortable with the blue color scheme.
