Crash on load screen, Fog of War setting

So I have been having my game crash on larger map settings and on a reload of some files on standard map settings (one that actually started on boot). So I have been playing around with some of the settings, and I figured it had to be graphics related. So I was able to figure out that if I changed the Fog of War setting to either minimum or low the game would consistently load on standard and larger maps (where before I never had a map size larger than standard actually finish the loading screen).

I know some others have had this problem as well, so if anyone else has this problem could they try lowering the FOW settings to see if they can get an improvement.
