Crash to Desktop when activating Policy

I am playing as Russia and just unlocked Globalization. One of my economic policies became outdated and was removed. The updated version was unlocked with Globalization; therefore I add it in the (now empty) slot. When I confirm the changes, the game stops letting me click anything and crashes a few seconds later. I have tried multiple times to load the save file.

If necessary, I can upload the save file, but I would like to avoid doing so as it is fairly large.

I've since managed to get past this crash-point by doing other things before inserting the policy. The save file no longer exists.

Mine crashes when doing certain late game policies as well. Probably will need a patch.

That's exactly what I was doing at the time. This is probably a bug.

Thanks for posting this! Came on to find out why I was crashing, changing civics policies with a trader selected was my issue too!
