I recently installed civ4(bts) for hot seat but somehow it keeps crashing every few turns making it unplayable.
i have an i7(870)with 6gbram and a gf460 win7(64).
installed it with the cd after the problem started i went as far as buying it again from steam unfortunately same issue.
installed the latest drivers,tried the highest and lowest graphical settings tried running it on compatibility mode.but nothing seem to make a difference and quite frankly i have run out of ideas.
If any1 has had the same issues and found a solution pls let me now i really mis the hotseat mode.
we used to play the same game on my previous rig with winxp never had any issue
at my present rig every other game runs smooth(including civ5 never had any crash)

PS If any1 from firaxis ever reads this post WHY WHY WHY WHY did you leave the hot seat mode out with civ5 ????????
