Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 4

Here's a link to the error report

The error keeps occurring in thread 5 leading me to believe it's graphics. I dont know how to tweak the graphics preferences to get any performance out of the game. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. Welcome :wavey:

I have the same first generation MacPro with 7300GT graphics. I upgraded to an nVidia GeForce 8800 card several years ago when the 7300 couldn't handle Civ4. I have never gone back to try the 7300 with Civ5, but since Civ5 is even more GPU intensive than Civ4, I wouldn't be surprised if it chokes.

Your crash report certainly points to the graphics system.
