Comparing with Civilization 4 vanilla and bts,the cultural victory in Civilization 5 has done a great step,because It allows to win with only one city,something that was impossible to imagine before.But the cultural victory in Civilization is something boring and didn't fully complete the mission,that was meant to be something fair and balanced.here are some suggestions to fix these problems:
-Most Wonders in this game just add +1 culture and most of them hasn't good benefits to compensate it. But there are some wonders that are too important for cultural victory,like stonehenge and christo redentor.some suggestions here is to decrease the numbers of minimal wonders needed for cultural victory to 4(with occ) and increase the numbers of wonders critical to cultural victory to 12.It can be made,by adding more wonders or increasing the culture of existing one,like the great pyramids,that can give 5 culture per turn,instead of 1.
-Nerfing Puppet Cities.Puppet Cities gives a lot of gold,culture,science and great person(they give you a great merchant,if there's a merchant specialist there or a wonder) and they didn't affect gp generation or sp or ga.some suggestions here is to nerf the science,gold and culture of puppets and make them affect great person generation and golden ages,just like any other city.
-Making some buildings give culture.Because of Mandate of Heaven sp,theater and colisseum don't give culture,like in Civ 4. Obviously,this was a big mistake,and they should bring culture back to these buildings,with specialists slots.
-GA triggered by happiness,makes specialists' yield being 50% more than normal.For example,Scientist specialist produces 4,5 science per turn,instead 3.This would be a excellent way to balance scientific research in small and big empires,without overpowering small ones.
Most of These suggestions wasn't made by me,I saw some of these in other threads and I like it.Any suggestion to improve some idea or add another one will be great.
