Culture: Should we make Donsignia a scientific powerhouse?

I ask this question because we can, with some good luck get CO.

So do you agree with me that we make Donsignia a Scientific powerhouse by switching is current production of a University to CO? With the back up of Newtons, if we are beaten to it. If we do build CO, we then go straight to NU. Once we have done with those wonders, we can go back to building the University.

I voted no.

Once we research Steam Power, we can go the lone scientist route. We're not after a Space Victory and we have all the military technology we need to annex as much land as we want; so researching past rails, although a pleasant diversion, takes away gold we could instead use for rushing cultural buildings in corrupt cities. Donsignia's production would be better used if we'd instead use it to build units that could be disbanded for shields in corrupt cities rather than enhance its research capability.

I agree with Bertie, but I think it matters little, and the Science Center "donsignia" has some roleplay value....

Anyway, donsignia is switched to Cop.
