I have a 56k and fixed the problem by reducing the number of post shown in each thread in the options......no problem

I just bought Paint Shop Pro 7 today to work on civ3 graphics.
I used it to size my avatar down from 175x200 to 50x60.
Its so cool! I'm dying to use it!
I am searching for rose pictures now.

The quickest way to end custom avatars is to start little wars, or to pick inappropreate subjects, like OBL, or Nazi flags, for example.

Well..It's an optimistic one! If TF hadn't allowed custom avatars I would've never turned them off then the site wouldn't run so fast! A blessing in disguise! Thanks for all the ugliness TF!!!!

I dont like Nazi's. Neither did Rommel. He was awarded "Hitler's Fried Egg" (Riechscross, I believe) but never wore it because it had a swatstika on it.
If anyone is truly offended by this avatar, I will remove it immediately.

Actually, Rommel had no problem with Hitler untill the war started to turn against germany.
Rommel actually helped lose the war, his insistance that Germany advance into Eygpt following the fall of Tobruk instead of operation Herkules, the invasion of Malta, doomed the axis in Africa.
His defaet at Alam el haffa was proof of his lack of strategic vision.
He was also an insorbordinate SOB, he only got alway with it because he kissed hitler's backside.
