TF said that he couldn't include a day limit for CA like you can for custom title.

4KB for 19 posts a thread = 19*4 KB, that itself adds about 76KB to each thread (max).

Yeah, but if you are like me and have 40 posts being viewed per page, that makes 160k <--at the maximum and can add seconds to each page. But I have them off now and I must say it makes the site look much better to me than it ever did without custom avatars.

You should've cutted from all sides, left, right, up'n'down, to get more space,
and (up & down) to lessen the filesize.

Crop the image first, then resize it.
Make sure its jpg too, because 3000 kb sure seems alot for a small image like that.
