Hi! I'm trying to make a custom soundtrack for Civ 4 using music from Civ 6. I've gone through and assigned my favorite tracks from 6 and put them into their corresponding era folders, in the BTS "custom assets" folder (in the BTS folder in "user"/documents/my games, not the data files in the Steam folder). I then load that folder in the game options. I had to do some funky stuff to change the XML files, which I can describe if it would help find a solution (Basically I used this tool, made by user @SalvatoreScalia). Good news, doing that got the music to play in game; bad news, the game randomly plays all tracks in the folder's folders, regardless of era.
TL;DR: How do I get custom tracks to play in specific eras? I added many dozens of tracks, so I specifically want an efficient solution. I've already skimmed the forum looking for answers, but if there's a thread that answers this already, point me in the right direction!
