CVN1 - Not So Corrupted Romans

Sorry about that, my mistake. Interestingly 1.22 could load the 1.15 save as it's a mod, but not vice versa. :(

I could replay my 10 turns but it was really time consuming. anvruss could you setup a dual install and let's all move to 1.22? I don't see any weird thing when I played (all tech situation was the same). I have the impression that Bedi and Sesn also have 1.22 installed.

To setup a dual install simply:
1. Go to "Civilization III" directory
2. Copy the whole directory of "Conquests" to "Conquests-1.15"
3. Install the 1.22 patch

Now Conquests/Civ3Conquests.exe is 1.22 and Conquests-1.15/Civ3Conquests.exe is 1.15.

Please let me know. If you have trouble doing that, or the team thinks we should stay in 1.15, I'll replay the 10 turns.

Sorry again.

1.22 is fine with me.

For any body who hasn't built a dual install yet:
Depending in space and hard drive speed, you might want to consider just swapping installs rather than copying the whole Conquests directory tree.

Process: upgrade to 1.22 as normal. When finished with 1.22 use the Windows Control Panel Add/Remove Programs on the 1.22 install. This removes the .exe and the added text files supporting 1.22. Then run the 1.15 upgrade as normal. When finished with 1.15 just run the 1.22 upgrade as normal.

You have to do it every time you swap games, but since that is a temporary situation...

I had to go this way as my gaming machine doesn't have enough HDD to hold two full Conquests directories.

I'll wait to hear back from Andvruss again before playing, but, unless it's a problem with him, I have no objection to moving into 1.22.

I do indeed have both versions installed, so either is fine with me. I don't think the couple of changes will really impact the game, but as Bede mentioned, space could be an issue. That's an interesting way to handle it Bede, but unfortunately it's too late for me to do it that way now.

Actually, never mind, I don't have the time to play this, I'm really sorry. Andvruss, can you take this?

This is the correct save.

SesnOfWthr - up
Bede - on deck

Ouch on the army loss, but please do not put armies in cities with flip risk except the first turn. We should raze cities we don't want and replace them.

All the workers - railroading to the front line is the first priority.

I'd probably set min research to Fission, for UN if nothing else..

Upgrade some infrantry!

Did we cut it down to five, or did Andvruss just not have time for more?

Either way I'll pick it up tonight.
