Orders:

Unite our forces with any allies in the region. To sustain such a large force, use part of our income to feed and supply the troops. Begin a final push to achieve total victory, spreading our spoils amongst our allies and ourselves. If we have any income left over, put it into removing our debt.

NEXT ORDERS DUE: 11:59 GMT, 9th of March, 2010. That's GMT. People in the USA should subtract around 6 hours from that.

I feel really hypocritcal in setting deadlines for orders, but I am reminded that it is fairer for everyone that this is so. So, there will now be fixed deadlines of death. Behold. I will try to keep the front page up to date with orders deadlines too.

People can re-send orders if they want to. Due to various circumstances I haven't made very much progress yet. Apologies :(

My god! I already Quit! Reflect that apon the stats already!

I'll reflect that apon yo face!

Alright well in my long history of doing these NESes, I noticed sometimes people change their mind for whatever reason, so I thought leaving your name there for another turn wouldn't hurt. You don't have to freak out. And also why are you reading the stats? :)

It seems some threads must have shifted about down in OT and I have 2 posts spare once more.

You should be honored that I use one of them here, saying how excited I am about this NES. I hope you don't suffer from your own popularity... this NES must have the most players any NES gets! As one of the leg-ends of NESing moderating, I guess you will suffer that fate. I only hope you don't get a RL any time soon.. no offence ;)

Forgive me, but a theme seems to be developing here. Where else have I seen this? :hmm:

I never supposed he was. I was hinting at the fact that I've seen this happen in four NESes so far with Omega.

Maybe he's just overspending into a deficit?:dunno:

Well, the safe limit for overspending is the negative of your economics level, and his is only 1, and he overspent by 2, so I didn't want him to inadvertently trigger an economic collapse. :p

Thanks for all the input so far, and for anyone actually understanding this at all!

23 HOURS REMAIN, I am looking at Solanaar and civver_764, although I can have fun NPC'ing those new factions. Oh and @Lord_Iggy, I seened no orders from you yet, although I can use your story as such.

@Anonymoose workers do cost 2e, and ideally you should say what resource icon you want them to go on. The number of workers you can safely put on a resource is limited by your techs (Economy covers them all, Engineering helps with mines, Infrastructure supports crops and livestock including horses I guess). Other people's workers also count towards these limits, so they can get crowded fast. Anyway, looks like you can get some horse farming going on.

As Thlayli said, overspending by more than 1e would be risky for your faction right now. I'll asume you just want the one worker. :salute:

25 Thousand! Congrats Abaddon! I am indeed honoured by all your posts here. But your party post was in StarNES? Without much ceremony?

Oh and I was born without a RL so don't worry about that

Yes, one worker. Forget horse farming, I want ELEPHANT FARMING! :D

Holuc: Lord_Iggy

Turn2: emerges into the light of history

Available Funds: 3e
Unspent from last turn: N/A
Income: 1e tax, 2e resource, 0.5e looted from Zakat tribes
Upkeep: 0.5e (1 unit)

Civilization Level: 1
Culture: 2 (1 Hulukap)
Enlightenment: 1
Power: 2
Military: 2
Organisation: 2
Infrastructure: 1
Economics: 1

1e to building 1 warrior group, who will strengthen themselves by fighting amongst each other alongside the already-present army, which will also work to heal and regroup after its recent activities. If the Hulukap seek to break into our lands, the Holuc as a whole will generally ignore them unless they start to win against one of our fellow Holuc Tribes, or raid our resources and harass our trade. We will fight back in individual manners, but if the threat becomes great, the Holuc Chacuc, Holuc Cirit, and all other tribes of our people will begin to cooperate against the threat. We might even send messengers to the non-Holuc if it is reasonable that they would be interested in fighting alongside us. Use our mutually intelligible languages to our advantage, and the threatening reputation of the Hulukap to possibly drown out our own.

2e to building simple forts throughout the lands of the Holuc.

If no threat emerges, then we’ll just fight each other, and raid against all others in Zakat, to continue to draw income from that source.

EDITED: Abaddon has kindly informed me that I can only build one unit per turn. Thanks!
