Excellent smile.
nice face.
Good background.
I like the slight imprefection (red) on his next.
His shoulders seem a little to high.. like he has 5-6 shirts on under his monks-robe

Thanks for the ellogies! :) The problem with the robe is result of a trick mine to try do a typical Tibetan Robe (without have the prop), I think I can fix it :)

He looks REAL........

Thanks :) I think it is my best LH ever (until now, I hope break this record in my next one and continue doing that).

Excellent! When I first saw it I thought it was a photo. :)

See, now this is an excellent leaderhead (better than my past "constructive" criticisms of another work), I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Here's an excellent unit created by CamJH - maybe not the best option for a UU, but definately would be a nice addition to the Tibetan Civ - especially considering CivArmy's suggested Civ-color.

This is a very nice surprise. :goodjob:

Tibet's UU should be the Kampa Horseman. The Kampa were the fiercest of the Tibetan tribes and were commonly used by Tibetan rulers in their campaigns against Imperial China. The Tibetans were a major threat to the Chinese Empire up until the Qing Dynasty. They continued to serve in Tibet's army up to the PRC's brutal campaign of conquest. Tibetans did have armed monks, but they weren't the mainstay of Tibetan armies.

Technically, Tibet should have a relatively high aggression rating; they were militarily one of the most powerful kingdoms in East Asia.

I take it that this is the Dalai Lama at a much younger age than he is today (around the time that he was actually in Tibet)

No. This is an earlier Dalai Lama. There have been numerous leaders with the title "Dalai Lama". The current Dalai Lama is Tenzin Gyatso.

Wow. I wasn't going to have the Tibetans in my setup, until now. Great work.

This takes your LHs into a new dimension. If this turns out as good as it looks now it could be one of the best LHs ever. Are you using new techniques/models/something here? It's quite remarkable.

There's nothing Tibetan about a Shaolin Monk, of course. But I'm sure the unit could stand in as some kind of Tibetan martial artist, as he's so cool!

Thanks for all the comments and ellogies fellows! I posted new artworks in 1st post as usual, his face is more round and I did a few change in his robe.
I hope re-make some of my old LH with this new quality and all the new ones with this same graphical quality. I'm not using a new model and technique, I'm just using better the resources already present.
About the unit: there is a Warrior Monk in PTW and Conquests, I think it is a good UU. In case of Vanilla I can use my unit Boxer on http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=108401

Seriously, I would call this face close to perfect. The only issue there remains, in my opinoin (and as you know I can be a little critical of faces) is the shoulders (which you already are working on).

Your best work yet. And one of the finest "fake" faces in or out of Civ3 I have ever seen.

thanks man! and thanks for help me arrive in this new level with good tips :)

@all: all the eras in post number 1 :)

I noticed you have the eye glasses in both versions, and I wondered about that in the old version when seeing them, but - is that really the style they had? Big, circular frames? My only knowledge is Hollywood's rendition  in Seven Years in Tibet where he had the thick black frames, but not circular. Anyway, not a comment on your work so much as the unusual style.

Any chance you would release the Industrial Age portrait without the glasses? This has got to be a top 3 leaderhead of all the one's I've seen, but I fear I will constantly focus on those glasses in that age - which I don't want to do, considering the quality of the portrait.
