I once had two spiders I was keeping as sort of free roaming pets, Daddy Longlegs I believe

I kept them because I was forced to live in a basement for two months while I was trying to find another place to live and it was either them or bugs that would actually bite me

That is nuts! How do people keep "free roaming" pets like spiders? I would have a heart attack if I wake up with it staring at me from the ceiling.

hell, that even sounds fun!

I shouldn't relish killing them so much considering its my fault, im a zoologist in training etc... but they are just pissin' me off now!

Then you should have detoxed anything that came into contact with the spores given that you have many house plants. Those things are designed to grip onto anything they can and spread.

How were the mushrooms by the way?

DOWN WITH THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM!

I am ressurecting this in the vain hope of reversing the process.

YES, now i NEED fruit flys! I plan to get a pigmy charmlion.. and initially they can't eat things much bigger than fruit flys.

Make some compost?

well yeah I can see you point, I have a deep fear of pretty much all bugs except a few, Daddy longLegs being one of the few since I knew them as a child

it was a fair alliance, they ate the bugs i was creeped out by and in exchange they didn't get killed

That is sounds like a perfect alliance to me. Having the balls to keep spiders alive around me is more than I can say about myself. Being "General_kill" and all, I gotta kill them.

Try to check here for some ways, how to get rid them. Maybe try to use fruit fly trap or something else, for example pyrethrin spray.
