Hey guys,

We've been discussing having a Christmas break in the thread for Geronimo's other hosted game, is there any plan to do the same over here? I'm going to be 'net-less probably from 23rd to 28th Dec, so a break over that period would be good for me. I can probably scare up a sub though if the consensus is to carry on.

I would like to keep playing through the christmas holidays but I will defer to the rest of the group.

Well I just discovered that the place I'll be staying claims Wi-Fi, so I may be able to have a bit of access after all. I'm not going to be wanting to spend long online though, so perhaps a timer extension would work for this one?

A 40-48hr timer would give a fair play window, and if I wasn't able to connect then I can have queued some actions and wouldn't miss too many turns.

I would miss some turns too. So I would be in favour of increasing the turn timer if everyone agrees.

I will change the turn timer to 48h tomorrow night. It will give some more time to play just in case!

I am having trouble getting into the game, since it is very slow for me to enter, so I think the serve could be reloaded. I don't have the same problem with other game though. It took me ver ten minutes to get in, when it normally would take only a few minutes.

yeah, I noticed that too, but put it down to a dodgy connection on my end.

As I sit here watching the progress bar slowly creep its way to completion, I'm glad to hear that the game will eventually load.

I am recovering from a bad virus. I didn't look at the thread for a while. Could you confirm if you still experience connection troubles? I didn't change anything up to now.
