Hey guys, where can I check what sort of RAM does my system use? Its a 4yr old system, so I suppose it can have either DDRAM or SDRAM. I have a buddy who can give some of his "whichever of those 2 is olderRAM", and I`ll have another buddy to install it for me (computers are quantum physics for me, especially on the inside ;)), but I don`t want to call him and bother him just so we can see what it is.

Can I look it up somewhere? Control Panel didn`t yield any results (mebbe I missed it). Anyway, if anyone knows, I`d appreciate the help. Thanks.

Unless it was ancient at the time you bought it, it'll use DDR.

It was new when I bought it, but a piece of crap even then (imagine it now! I just put TES:Oblivion`s box in the same room with it, and my computer starts smoking..), it has 96 MB RAM

Thanks guys :)
Well, probably SDRAM in that case. I'm not even sure they ever made DDR DIMMs smaller than 128 MB.

Another method is try to figure out the motherboard (mobo) it is, and try to download a specsheet on it. That will tell you the full ram configuration possibilities.
