I am Poland, King, large, random map which turned out to be continents.
I have conquered every capital but Korea, who is my very good friend. We have been allies the whole game. Shaka completely wiped out the Moroccans on the other continent. I have decimated the Ottomans, England, Denmark and Egypt on mine. I am allied with every CS but one, and I have enough $$ to ally with them. World Leader vote is in 19 turns. I certain to win it. So I am asking you to play the 2 angels on my shoulder...do I betray my friend for a quicker victory and probable higher score or do I stand by my best pal and just win out in 19 turns? My navy would easily capture Seoul. I have 3 battleships and 3 destroyers in the area...more to bring in if I wanted to...
Just curious to see how you would play it...

weeeeelllll, if I was there, I would probably capture Korea's city as it would be funnier then pressing "next turn" for about 20 turns, and since the end is in sight, who cares how everyone else feels about you? Also, since you're Poland, you can always into space to prove everyone wrong :p

It would be fun to go into space with Poland, but that would mean more than 19 turns, for while I am very far ahead and could easily win that way too, THAT would be tedious.

Just take the Korean capitol and call it a game.

I bet Sejong would do it to you if your spots were reversed...

I think you should use all of your votes for Sejong as world leader, because he is your friend and you should want the best for your friends.

That's not even a close call. Of course you wait 19 turns and win with grace and integrity, rather than as the pathetic warmongerer you've become.

A close call, and true moral delimma, would be if Korea was on the verge of winning a science victory. In that case, would you attack your friend and seize their capital? Or would you stand by them even though you would be defeated? I've faced that delimma once and chose not to attack. I was a long shot to win the game and preferred my longtime ally to take the victory rather than an enemy. And you know, I sleep better at night.

Try and race to science victory before the vote

you said shaka wiped out morocco. did shaka still control his capital? remember that domination victory require you to control ALL capitals.

Yeah, I know it is rather silly to have "morals" in this game, but typically, I try to avoid backstabbing. It is only right to do so for one should not complain about the AI's backstabbing only to do the same thing yourself. (if that made sense)

This, my dear kids, is the answer. Always. :nuke::mwaha::goodjob:

The only moral dilemma here is, do you feed Sejong to fire ants or torch him with some gasoline? 'Cause gas prices have been climbing up, and you don't want to set a bad example for the citizens... But otoh the ants might find the meat unsavory, being that he is a dirty Korean and all. Decisions, decisions. Just another day in the life of a ruler!

(Yes, I was Attila in a previous life. :mwaha: (best smiley on the forums))
