Just waiting for the next update.... although I'd say that the Itallians are going to get royally screwed.... Especially since the Mecha Legions aren't what they're cracked up to be.

The Italians will fight hard despite the lousy odds. The situation with the Mechs is uncertain. The Italians also still have to worry about their only rubber plantation being right on the border of Germany. Neither side wants it destroyed so a close combat fight with small arms only is due.

Attacks are ordered on German outposts along the border. Many small battles happen with no major results achieved.

Here is a picture of one Italian attack on a German outpost. The Germans pour heavy fire from cannons and machineguns into the Italians but they have the heart of a lion and keep on coming. Dead Germans started to pile up as well when the Italians returned accurate riflefire from smoke of the maelstrom.
