You have to have enough points for mantainance of the "workers." I forget how much it is for each one; I think it's 100. If it is 100, what that means is that if you plan on having, say, 200 total men working for you by the end of the level, be sure to have 20,000 spare points coming into the level. Any ones that can't be paid because of lack of funds die.
Lopex, there are dragons. In the CD release. There's the XGen Studios Summer 2003 CD. It has Defend Your Castle, Fishy!, and Stick RPG. The little preview picture shows a dragon attacking the castle. It costs $13.90.
There's the suicide bomber. He's easy to kill - just click and he blows up. In the "Summer 2003 CD", a release that includes Fishy, Stick RPG, and Defend Your Castle, there's dragons in the DYC game.
Got 256 of every unit last year. Whatever. I already have one of those pads they ad. And I have really sweaty palms, and I've been using it for three years. It smells awesome.
Now I know where my mind is. I haven't even started the game, but noticed the word "manapool" in the help. Reading further, I found that to convert an enemy I need 2000 mana. Damn! The only thing that could get THAT much mana would be an elf deck!!!
*Runs from mob of angry Magic: the Gathering players upset at his terrible MTG joke...
query: after each round, i lose tons of men -- ~70% of wizards, ~80% of archers, and all of my repairers. I have more than enough points to spend on upkeep, i did not use any detonate spells close to my castle, and none of hte attackers even touched the castle. what am i doing wrong?
edit: never mind -- i finally figured it out -- "Spendable Points" can't be used to pay upkeep -- only for fortifications, repairs, etc. -- on each level, your intake must exceed your upkeep costs.
I got to level 30 but then it got boring because it became so easy. I had so many men I could just let my archers kill all the attackers and I had so many wizards that my mana bar never got lower than convert even when I was constantly clicking.
I lost again, this time at stage 16 with a score of around 248,000. Why is it that I will suddenly lose most of my units in a later level, when I have enough points to easily pay for all of them and without setting off any explosions?
