Defending the Homeland

Right now, Fanatica's dark hour has come. Pretty much the idea is too flee the homeland for northern islands, but that is still debateable. Rik has not come back yet, but as soon as he does we will need at lest some idea on what to do. We need to get the land ready to hold back the CGN and CDZ forces as long possible to do this. Please discuss what to do, we only have a limited time too.

And no more blaming people for this. We are in the present now.

Right now, unless we get really lucky with galleys/units moved to Resisting Isle, the exile to those islands are our only hope. That settler needs to find a galley, a few escorts, and the rest of the fleet needs to break through anything that floats.

I would guess we need to go to the NW island of two tiles, requiring all of our galleys, with 2 garrison units, a worker and a settler. They will be hard pressed to reach that.
The two one tilers can be taken too fast.

I don't believe in a retreat to a 1 tile island. That is unneccesarily prolonging things till marines. And not within the spirit of the ISDG.

Either we fight and protect our nation or we surrender. I barely see a chance for us if they had only landed on Iron Island. Now they've landed 80 fast units in our core as well there is no hope.

I haven't been able to look at the save, but is it feasible to get as many units to Resisting Isle and possibly defeat and block that island?

I say that we build a defensive system of Kamina, Khazad Doom and East Point, which would barely be enough to subsidize the refugee fleet with settler to the two tile island NW.
No gold to rush now, only to keep the DMZ army alive until we reach the island.

I saw that. I was merely wondering if it was possible to defeat them and fortify the island.

I don't mind you resigning from ambassador, but you will not leave the team just because of what other nations think. Besides, we need as many military guys as possible.

dammit we must rally our forces into a focal point on the island and hold the hills and build a grand redoubt so we may achieve a diplomatic solution but we must destroy the troops in the eastern area of the island so we dont get hit in the rear...it is obvious we need every available forces at hand it is all or nothing ppl i say we prepare the fleet for a major offensive against enemy shipping that are around the island and reserve 1 or 2 vessals for ferrying reinforcements from the core onto the island. On the mainland I suggest we withdrawl military forces from the outlaying small towns to the major city centres and hope that the towns will overthrow the occupation of enemy troops and allow a large concentation of our forces to throw the enemy back into the sea.
