Life is a grid, and there are dots on that grid called "cells" every generation a cell will survive if it has 2 or 3 nieghbors but die from lonliness if there is 0 or 1 or die from overcrowing if there is 4 5 6 7 or 8. Also in an empty space where there are 3 neighbors a new cell will be born.
