Fluphen Azine
What is Fluphen Azine?
This was brought up recently in the warrior/scout/slinger/ thread.
I found it interesting.
When I watch Lets Plays. I notice many players complaining of Barb Invasions or getting Rolled.
This makes perfect sense to me to avoid any problems on land based maps.
I would figure you would do something different on water based maps?
I'm sure that like everything else this is map/game/start dependent.
What really caught my attention is that this helps solve the Classical Golden Age problem.
That is to say if you want those over a Classical Dark Age.
I only tried one game so far up to turn 50.
I played as Khmer and the Mayans were my neighbor again.
I built 3 warriors first and had a fast population increase from a goody hut.
This helped me to get them out faster.
I went builder, settler after the initial 3 warriors.
My land was Luxury Poor and I had one copy of Horses in the 3rd ring.
Other Horses and Iron were close enough for my first expo.
I was unsure of what to do with the 4 warriors.
I sent them all off in opposite directions and found many CS's.
A few goody huts but not many.
I did manage to kill 3 or 4 Barb Camps.
I was able to get 26/25 Era Score for the first Golden Age.
I had 0 Faith Generation so it was kind of a bust.
My questions are what is best to do with these warriors on Pangaea Maps?
How far should you explore with them?
Should you use them more so for an early pillage war?
Should you build 3 in a row right out of the gate or mix the build order up with builder/settlers?
Any information is appreciated as this was my first attempt.
I felt the results were better than I expected.
The interesting thing is, I have never seen any Let's Plays on Youtube going Warrior x 3 First.
I plan to try this a few more times with screenshots and more thoughts on the subject.
What Techs should you focus on with this build?
Should you research the Government Plaza asap?
