NO don't Own already said he has it

What Ginger_Ale said seems to be the way to go. Bede, did you play more than one save, only take embassy shots in one, then sent the wrong one? Another possibility, albeit unlikely.

Now I am confused.....

Bede, Something happened with the Embassies that you built. Somehow it's almost like they were never built. We apperently didn't lose any cash either. So it looks like we're just going to have to re-open the embassies.

The only thing that could have happened is I exited before finishing, then when I re-started I didn't realize that I was back to the beginning of the turn :spank:, but I honestly do not remember. :wallbash:

Keep my hands off the controls from now on is the solution. That's two I've messed up.

lurker's comment: If no money was deducted, than no embassies were created. If embassies were created the money is always gone.

Since we see embassy-screenshots that means that Bede did create them, but no money is gone, Bede send out a save in which no embassies were created. That means that the send out save (thus: -official save- ) is not the save that the screenshots were taken in. That's a fact.

Possibilities:
Bede played twice, only taking screenshots in 1 of them and sending out the other one.
Bede played once, and someone else played. The next team used the non-Bede save to continue the game.
Weird bug that hasn't surfaced in a PBEM before.

Either way; I think the admins need to check the send-out saves to determine which option (or another option I can't imagine right now) is true and then come up with ways to deal with it and to solve it.

In my humble opinion this is a "Halt the save for investigation" - situation.

OK.... do we need to post a message in the turn-tracker?

No. That's up to Ginger or Regent. And only IF they agree with me (a mere lurker). I would strongly advise against playing the turn until Ginger and Regent say so.

agreed. . .

Rik: I checked saves for turn 60 and 61 this morning when I PMed Tubby + RegentMan. No money was deducted on turn 61, and likewise no embassies were created. I'm not sure what went on, but I've instructed them to just try and create the embassies this turn.

edit: Answering Rik's question: go ahead and play.

Waiting for the wedding...so I thought I'd check in.

OK now I'm confused. I see Own played the save(btw please post what you did in our turn play log thread Grasshoppah)
I see we set up new ones.
Do we use the new embassies or the old embassies for negotiations?

Please advise.

OK I got it. I will forward Sir Bugs' letter to TNT too.

Here's the letter forwarded to TNT. Let's see how they respond.

letter said:
Hello Grand Vizer,

Who can say what a picture is worth?
A thousand words, a thousand krona
For we've had a look inside the Banana
How might you ask can we see?
Why by looking out the window
Of our new embassy
In exchange for the skills
Of laying brick on brick
We'll keep our knowledge to ourselves
And not share how many shields
You make on each tile
With the cake eaters of Springfield
If before our turn sixty four
The gift of masonry we see.

Kisses,

Team K.I.S.S.

That ought to stir up a hornet's nest! :D
