Well, why not use Kal-El's world map or one of the others? They seem pretty accurate
 
Because they have too much unuseable territory aka Antarctica. Check out Thorgrimm's Earth in the completed scens forums and you will see what i mean. My scale is 75 miles to the square and their Britian does not look any better than mine just different scale.

Ah, yes, very nice map. On looking at Britain without all the towns and villages placed on it, it does seem the right shape.

The only complaint I have at all though is that Canada and Russia go off the map at places.

Ah, that makes sense. But why are there tiny islands at the base of the map with Aliminium, Game and the likes?

They were randomized? Won't that lead to some innaccuracies like Elephants in the Amazonian Jungle (If the Elephants can be placed in Jungle, that is) or a Britain without Horses or a US without Uranium?
 
People we really do need people to playtest this as there are only 2 of us testing it right now. If you wish to be a play test it go to join CDG and contact Thorgrimm about [playtesting.

Go here and join up, once you have done that PM Thorgrimm over there that you would like to sighn up for playtesting, he will then add you to a memebers list that allows you to see a hidden forum, after that it's self explantory. BTW the dl is 86.6MB
 
Don't worry, I have Broadband, and that should be able to handle it. I've E-Mailed Thorgrimm about the Play-Testing and am awaiting reply.

Will the Play-Testing involve searching for any bugs, testing playability and trying to find ways to balance it out where necassary, because for some reason I rather enjoy that. I once sat down and gave the version of DyP I have a different Icon for every single tech and strangely enjoyed myself whilst I was doing all the text editing.
 
Indeed it does. That is what we have to do, along with file a report every day. Your lucky I have AOL with a 56k modem.
 
File Report every day? Well, I should defiantely be able to pass a report on at the weekends, but during Week Days I may not be able to because of schooling an all, but I'll my best.
 
But I've got a hell of a lot of Homework awaiting me. I've been suffering badly with the Flu over the last two weeks and my parents have phoned up the School to ask if they can provide homework so I can catch up.
