I think is the only one, and anyway now the general tab is already divided into 2 sections, so the problem is already there...
 
I'm in favor of splitting the tab. The only real downside is the number of tabs is growing, probably to the point of needing to scroll them to see the Credits tab. One option is to create a true About screen with credits and other info such as version and build (revision), check for updates, etc.

As for the tick marks, I agree with splitting the options--one for each bar. The City Screen tab could group the food/prod bar options:.

Food Bar:
x Tick Marks
x Detailed Info (need a better phrase for this)

Production Bar:
x Tick Marks
x Detailed Info (will show remaining production to finish item)
x Hurry Info (a.k.a. WhipAssist)

It could then have labels for the other bars:

Culture Bar:
x Turns until expansion

Great Person Bar:
x Turns until birth
x Percentages

Should we show the % chance of revolt on the Nationality Bar (to avoid having to hover) to round out our set? ;)

I think this already happens to localized versions. It did for ITA, till when I shrinked a couple of titles. But I don't think it's a big problem, the credit tab (and even the system tab) will not been looked at frequently.
 
I gave it another thought and came up with the idea that maybe we could have two tabs inside the General tab. That would be really awesome. :D The question is: Is this even possible? :confused:

Take a look at the normal options screen. Some of the tabs have "sections". I can make a way to do this in BUG too. But I still think these options have grown enough to require two tabs.
 
Two, no, three questions:
Why don't you disable the espionage graph, when espionage is turned off?
Why are the tickles for growth different from those of science or production?
Where is the main info widget's position defined?

I added more rivers. I actually tried to use a different algorithm, but it's crap, so just increased the numbers.
Terra option now has a nice looking Arabia instead of some landbridges and islands.

I could support The Doc if you want. I'm making the SVN update of your mod 3times a day or more often. :D If I had any upload rights, I could improve the translation directly.

Did it yesterday. :D I always wait a bit before committing new translations so that I have a bunch of 'em because I don't want to "waste" a new revision just for a single word or two.

Instead of "Herrschaftssieg" you should use "Vorherrschaftssieg" (all appearances)... cause the winning option is named "Vorherrschaft" too.

Hmm, are you sure? I thought this was a term from ColdFever's Community Translation. That's why I changed it back to "Herrschaftssieg" because that's the term I found in the manual.
 
Great! Mind using the Documentation thread or starting a German German Translation (your call, Doc) for this discussion? I'm a big fan of organizing. :D
