We amy have to consider starting some kind of 24/72 rule or something along those lines for our next game. If everyone could give ti some thought, and we can discuss it more as this game approaches a conclusion.

Hey Alerum! Good to see you're still around. I hope school is treating you okay. DGIT5 by December? Maybe we'll get there, but personally I'm doubtful. But who knows. Some of the school schedules might lighted up around here.
SC is still around btw. He just missed he was up. He may be able to swap in after Oblivion - if he finds his C3C CD that is.

Sorry these turns are going slow - my aunt turned up very unexpectedly for a two day visit.
I have played half the turns, building up infra and military.
But war doesn't seem an option. Arabia has parked a dozen MDI on the borders, with about six pikes. China ain't an option. They have 25+ swords and spears in their part of conquered Arabia (Medina and Baghdad).

ummm, guys I know I'm not playing... but don't you think a week without posting, or even replying to SpikeIt's attemps at bumps, it's worth a skip just this once? I know it's a tough game, but no reason to let it die.

Well, the set has already been started on, it just hasn't been completed yet. I don't think we should skip unless oblivion fails to show life signs for a bit longer.

Hmm. I was thinking along the same lines, Alerum, but I wasn't ready to pull the skip card since 1) Obivions turn was after a skip already and 2) Oblivion sounded like he was halfway through...
I say give it another day or two. If Oblivion doesn't have the time, hopefully he can post what he did play or at least the save, otherwise I feel we'll have no choice but to skip again.
Its kind of the same broken record sentiment that's been expressed here and in previous DGITs - 1) post got it and 2) if you need time, post status and lets us know whats going on or just asked to be skipped.

Also I'm giving you guys a heads-up: It seems the Israeli Ministry of Education may be cutting German off of the list of languages you can get tested on for your "Bagrut" (roughly equivilant to the SATs) starting next year, which may very well mean that I will do it a year earlier than I expected, which would mean I will be cramming like mad January through June. I would have to be on autoskip for that period, and right now it's looking like it's gonna happen.
