Dial-Up Connection Popups

I am getting really annoyed at my computer. A majority of the time when I get disconnected from my dial-up internet a dial-up dialog box will appear, one after another! and when you try to close one, another 5 pops up. Its like a endless loop nightmare! Now I could deal with it if it was just that but so many pop up that the computer jams and i have to restart it. Does anyone know how to stop these pop ups? I am tired of losing whatever I am working on when this happens.

Open Control Panel.
Go to Internet Options
Go to Connections
Click on "Never Dial a Default Connection"
Click Apply
Click OK/Close.

Well at least it's less annoying than having a dsl line and still getting disconnected I'm not kidding. I was offline so many times by a bad french ISP...
