Did Farming get Nerfed overnight?

Set up my farms last night with pastures. Got all of my farmers at or near 20 food produced.

This morning I wake up and log in and none of them is higher than an 8?

So did the Civ team Nerf Farming?

Ooops... My mistake. Apparently in the era we are in Farming recieves an -50% bonus. Time to scrap all of the farmers and concentrate on some thing that will end this era quickly. Science!

I think 10 is the new max, yeah. Which sucks, because now there's a lot less to do in a city with fewer people. I've been staring at the screen and gathering popups. Dull work. =|

Yeah, the population requirements are sad. Still, better than the Great Person requirement thresholds, lol. I have seen people with up to 35 food now, I'm sure it's possible to get it even higher than that. But it requires wonders, etc.
