Here's a nice bug...
If you're at war with someone, and you contact them to end the war, select anything you want from them, and see if they'll accept the terms. When they do not accept, click the option for "What is the price of peace?". You'll get a dialogue that says something about not trading for peace, blah blah blah. Click Ok. You'll notice the computer is now saying something like "This is my final offer." Click Accept, and you'll get everything you originally asked for.
I don't believe they intended this, so I consider it a bug, and an easy way to do some considerable cheating. I mean, you could ask for every city they own (except the capital of course)!
