fix for production list sorting
(was broken by the 1.2.0 game update)
- buildings: repairs first, then highest total yield
- units: civilians first, then highest combat strength
yeah, that's probably possible, although i'd want some kind of indication on the list that you're purchasing an item already in queue. i've recently been wanting something like this myself, now that they've fixed the bugs. not a high priority though so i might not get to it for a while.Hmm, since this mod added one click-repairs long before Firaxis made improvements to them...I just dare to ask nicely, if the follwing idea might be something for "City Hall" as well
An easier way to finish items under construction by purchasing the left production with gold.
This is now supported by the game (after being broken at release due a bug with the fractional cost displayed, but the full sum being deduced - this has been fixed now), but slightly inconvinient:

As you can see, I have a Granary under construction. 3 turns are left and my feeling is that I could rush completion with 90 Gold. However, the option to is just not available...

...until I remove the ongoing construction, which makes the "partial rushing" available.
I concede that it only one click more, but you also have to precalculate or -guess if you have already accumulated enough gold. If you misguess/-calculate, you need to restore. So wouldn't it be nice, if the current item under production would also appear in the purchase list, without the need to remove it from the production queue before?
Not sure if that is technically possible/feasible...or if it something you @beezany or others would see as an improvement at all...but I guess it can't hurt to dream![]()
i have been making a similar mistake a lot, so i've decided to revert this feature in the next version of City Hall. it won't switch to the Purchase tab automatically anymore.Hi! Would be nice to be able to turn off the auto switch to purchase tab, when repairs are pending. When I am in a hurry and don't mind about repairs, just want to build units or start research project - I open city and mistakenly buy a unit, instead of producing it.
It is even more important, when using your mod with FirstDan Cool UI as it has purchase button on production list, so I don't need to auto-switch to purchase list at all. Can you please help with that? May be as an option?

production tooltip fix

yes, that was a vanilla bug! i stumbled across an error message in the logs the other night & figured out what was causing it. the vanilla code was passing bad parameters to get the building production cost. there was also a bug where it’d hide the cost for the Purchase tab and then never unhide it for the Production tab. i fixed it for buildings in v1.12.0 and for units in v1.12.2@beezany The warehouse boni overview is truly a great idea.I always felt that I lacked certain information when considering to build a warehouse, but so far I wasn't able to exactly nail down what it was and how it should be presented. Now seeing you creation I have the feeling that I suddenly know what my subconscious always wanted
And another thank you for restoring production cost in the tooltips. I just noticed that they sometimes they were there and sometimes not...and strictly blamed it to be a vanilla game bugThat shows how distant is my memory to playing the game without your mods...
